  1. I see there are some topics already about having CCleaner run off of a USB Drive. This request is a bit more than just running off of a USB drive. I have a U3 USB Smart Drive. It has it's own installation of McAfee Antivirus, OpenOffice, Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird aswell as as Trillian and an FTP client. When I plug in the drive the Antivirus autoruns, scans the computer I've connected the drive to and then runs in auto-protect mode until I unplug the drive. It's all self-contained, can auto-run, doesn't put anything on the host computer and is very convenient. There's a U3 Program Launchpanel that loads too when the USB drive is connected allowing programs to be run with a just a click. I saw that there is a bat file and registry file setup to make CCleaner basically run off of the USB drive...but I'd like to put in a request here for a U3 version that can be activated automatically or through the U3 launchpad. It would be great to be able to connect the drive to a client's computer, click CCleaner from the launchpad and have it clean up the C Drive. The first step would be the http://www.u3.com/ website. They have a freely downloadable SDK. U3.com also claims that the steps to make something work on a U3 drive are very minimal, basically just wrapping the program with their API hocus pocus and generating some XML file. Crap like that. "Do it yourself then." and "This is pointless." replies aren't helpful, I already got my fill of those on the other program forums I've requested this feature at.
