I have a WD Elements external USB disk. ToDO backup has saved a backup of main hard disks to this USB disk. It is ~170G in size and started out with 79 disk fragments. I've deleted all the other files on the disk so it has ~1200G of free space. Since defraggler started over 2 hrs ago there is still just this one fragmented file but now the number of fragments is 1458, 1459,... Defrag state is 100% but is still going, at least the number of fragments is increasing so its doing something. I'll leaving running overnight and update this post in the morning but so far it isn't looking that good.
