  1. Why doesn't CCleaner clean and remove the cookie named 'dmtstore'? Here is a list of the stored info in this cookie which never expires and cannot be deleted without the use of a paid for anti-cookie program, or a series of steps which require a nerd to understand: DMTSTORE COOKIE DATA: data="[{key:"memberservices.mrv",value:"Ground broken on $3.4 billion Homeland Security complex - CNN.com|http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/09/09/homeland.security.headquarters/index.html||L.A. firefighters escape as truck sinks into hole - CNN.com|http://www.cnn.com/2009/US/09/08/california.stuck.fire.truck/index.html||Venezuela to export gasoline to Iran - CNN.com|http://www.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/americas/09/07/iran.venezuela.gasoline/index.html||Officials: Crack may keep Bay Bridge closed past Tuesday - CNN.com|http://www.cnn.com/2009/US/09/06/california.bridge.closed/index.html||'Massive' ancient wall uncovered in Jerusalem - CNN.com|http://www.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/meast/09/04/israel.wall.discovered/index.html||The future of libraries, with or without books - CNN.com|http://www.cnn.com/2009/TECH/09/04/future.library.technology/index.html||911 caller arrested in Georgia mobile home slayings - CNN.com|http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/09/04/georgia.killings/index.html",expireDate:"Sun, 13 Sep 2009 18:54:30 UTC"},{key:"user_topics",value:{visits:7,tw_array:[{key:"Politics",weight:1},{key:"Fran_Townsend",weight:1},{key:"Marion_Barry",weight:1},{key:"Domestic_Policy",weight:1},{key:"Government_Hospital_for_the_Insane",weight:1},{key:"Los_Angeles",weight:0.9},{key:"San_Fernando_Valley",weight:0.9},{key:"Valley_Village",weight:0.9},{key:"Nuclear_Weapons",weight:0.81},{key:"Political_Policy",weight:0.81},{key:"International_Relations",weight:0.81},{key:"Latin_American_Politics",weight:0.81},{key:"Middle_East_Politics",weight:0.81},{key:"Loma_Prieta",weight:0.7290000000000001},{key:"California_Department_of_Transportation",weight:0.7290000000000001},{key:"Bart_Ney",weight:0.7290000000000001},{key:"San_Francisco_Oakland_Bay_Bridge",weight:0.7290000000000001},{key:"Anthropology",weight:0.6561000000000001},{key:"Science_and_Technology",weight:0.6561000000000001},{key:"Ronny_Reich",weight:0.6561000000000001}]},expireDate:"Tue, 6 Oct 2009 18:54:32 UTC"}]" Seems like CNN or the government is tracking the news sites I am reading? Guess I need to quit CNN? Funny how ccleaner misses this cookie 100%! Curious, please enlighten me? C.David Cowan Modesto, Ca.
  2. Why do we have to clean the files created when we scan for issues. Should be automatic. Why does not CrapCleaner clean its own traces when told to scan issues? Kind of like a pop-up that does not exist yet. A couple of clicks and it is a non-issue. But when u have 2 go back and run the Cleaner to eliminate the footprint from CCleaner, it is like, "I wonder why I have to do this?" Is there an underlying issue here that has not been addressed? If has been, please enlighten me. Thank-u, C.David Cowan 05/17/06 pst
