I have noticed on two machine I have there is a message about remote procedure call server not available. One machine is a netbook running win xp home; the other, an msi box running windows xp pro sp2. My main box has no problems and is a gigabyte mb running xp pro sp2. Non of the machines have .net or anything particularly exotic; each runs any s/w I've put on them.
I have played with various ms xp services to no effect. What should I be looking for. Generally the error arises in all categories except mb or cpu or video.
