Hi Folks,
I was wondering if it was possible to set up CC to be able to wipe spaces on CD's or DVD's.
When I go and delete things off of a DVD that I have made, it removes the information but it still shows on the DVD that the now freed up space isn't free at all.
In some cases the damn thing shows I have less space then I had before I deleted the information.
I wasn't sure how hard it would be to put that feature in or if it can even be done.
Thanks,
Cormac

Hi and thank you for the quick response to my question and the friendly hello.
I was under the impression that the disc's that I was using were DVD-RW, the are actually DVD+R discs.
As for the packer writing, I was using Microsoft's burning software that is in my Win 7. It said in a pop up that if I wanted to use this disc in other machines and if I wanted to be able to remove information at a later time, then I had to use this one format.
I didn't know at the time that it was packet-writing. Thank you for the link to Wiki, I learned something new today.
Roxio came with the system, I've used it once but didn't like it that much. Makes me wish I still had my old Nero Burning Rom software.
Thank you both again for your help.
