Hi and thank you for the quick response to my question and the friendly hello. I was under the impression that the disc's that I was using were DVD-RW, the are actually DVD+R discs. As for the packer writing, I was using Microsoft's burning software that is in my Win 7. It said in a pop up that if I wanted to use this disc in other machines and if I wanted to be able to remove information at a later time, then I had to use this one format. I didn't know at the time that it was packet-writing. Thank you for the link to Wiki, I learned something new today. Roxio came with the system, I've used it once but didn't like it that much. Makes me wish I still had my old Nero Burning Rom software. Thank you both again for your help. Cormac

Hi Folks, I was wondering if it was possible to set up CC to be able to wipe spaces on CD's or DVD's. When I go and delete things off of a DVD that I have made, it removes the information but it still shows on the DVD that the now freed up space isn't free at all. In some cases the damn thing shows I have less space then I had before I deleted the information. I wasn't sure how hard it would be to put that feature in or if it can even be done. Thanks, Cormac
