Ok, Im working on all this right now. Then, reposting in Malware removal forum.

so, I got Malwarebytes and, it found 2 Trojans. I got rid of those easy enough. But the problem remains. I uninstalled CCleaner and installed again. On the install, it asks if I want to run. Click yes, nothing happens. Try to open from The Recycle Bin, and it still gives the same message.

Thanks for the reply. I am using the Malwarebytes program now. Interestingly, the same note popped up as did when I tried to use CCleaner. "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." However, with MB, I clicked ok and, the program started anyway. With CCleaner, it still will not open the program.

Hi all. I have been using Ccleaner now for a few years. For the first time, I am unable to open it at all, and a window tells me that I may not have the appropriate permissions. Incidentally, I also use spyot S&D. Starting at the same time, I am unable to open Spybot's update feature. Any ideas?
