I'm getting rid of the computer and wanted to remove any remnant data that might be on the drive, so I thought the wipe disc option might do that. I don't need anything as extreme as boot n nuke, but just wanted to wipe the free space.

Hi all, Not sure what I did, but I installed the latest version of CCleaner on an old Dell with Windows 98. Everything works fine except there is no option (box to check) to perform a "wipe free space". Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
