  1. I figured out what it was, it wasn't even CCleaner that was causing the problem, it was another program I use called System Ninja.
  2. That didn't do the trick either, Im guessing its something on CCleaners end, hopefully they will fix it on the next update.
  3. I checked on my other laptop that runs Windows 8.1 and nothing changed on that one CCleaner is still changing all my extension settings in Chrome.
  4. That Local Extension Settings path in my early post worked for everything, but two extensions. Magic Action for Youtube and Flashcontrol.
  5. I found these in the User folder is this right? C:\Users\1jckinnickgmail.com\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\
  6. How does everybody else keep CCleaner from deleting their extension preferences?
  7. Figured out how to show hidden files, but there is nothing I see hidden that is relevant to Chrome extensions.
  8. Those instructions don't match what's on my laptop. Do you know how to do it with Windows 10 or 8.1?
  9. Here is the exact path after I found it, but its still not working. I tried it with my Windows 10 laptop and its not working on that one either. C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\48.0.2564.103\Extensions\
  10. I couldn't find the path through CCleaner, but I copied and pasted the path and put it in so hopefully that will work.
  11. I believe on the previous version what I unchecked was called local storage not local cache.
  12. I'm running CCleaner and since the most recent Cleaner update it is deleting my Chrome extension preferences. Before I think I unchecked what was called local cache, but that isn't an option anymore. I have saved form information unchecked, but that's not doing anything. I am running Windows 8.1
  13. Its always been slow to start, but now its slow cleaning too, at least in Windows and Applications, but the Registry part is fine though.
  14. Anybody else experienced this?
  15. On step 13 i don't see anything that says owner rights but every user has all the allow boxes checked except for creator owner and whenever i check them to allow and hit apply it acts like its not working because the check marks disappear.
  16. Yeah im using the administrator account and installing the correct version as far as i know. When i tried it before i uninstalled itunes using Revo uninstaller which deletes most traces and registry left overs, i even went through and did a search for anything itunes and deleted it. I then reinstalled and it still wouldn't work. I will give that other one a try again.
  17. The second one didn't work, anybody have any other ideas?
  18. Thanks that second one might do the trick.
  19. I keep getting all kinds of emails of new topics posted here, how do i turn that off?
  20. Anybody know how to get itunes to open? Ive uninstalled and reinstalled using Revo uninstaller and it still will not open. It doesn't show up in the task manager when i try to open it either, it just gives me a half second of an hour glass and stops. It also does a "windows is configuring itunes" and then leaves two files in my recycling bin the first time i try to open itunes after a start up.
  21. I don't know how many passes, i didn't see anywhere to choose that option.
