I have a laptop HP-DV5 running Vista 64 Premium Home Edition and when using the beta version 1.00 most system recognition features worked. The beta version didn't find the size of my Seagate harddrive, and it didn't recognize the audio or CD drive, but there were no errors. When I upgraded Speccy to the final version 1.01, Speccy hardly detects anything on my system. It gives errors for the CPU, Memory, and everything else except the operating system and the video card. I have gone back to the beta.
Any ideas on why the final version, Speccy 1.01, is doing this? I thought it should work at least as well as the beta version 1.00.
