Well folks - the above is precisely the type of situation that makes me very reluctant to use the Registry cleaner function. All well over my head. Not very encouraging I must say.

Many thanks. Is it posssible to outline what problems I might encounter after cleanign the registry?

From A Very Apprehensive Newbie - When I run the Registry section of CCLeaner it ? of course ? produces a great long list of items requiring attention - none of which mean a thing to me. It may as well be in Russian! So exactly what do I do next?
