This happened in the last version as well, CCleaner says that there is <larger amount> "to be removed" and upon completion it says <much smaller amount> has been deleted. Maybe it has something to do with temp files, because both times this happened most of the files "to be removed" were temp files. attached are the settings I use to delete, if it helps.
