Hello Richard, You're right. Originally, there were thumbnail images for previewing, so it looks like the full size jpg files may have been lost when the C drive was infected. Prizzy20

After my C drive was infected with malware, I was able to recover my numerous photo jpeg files on the D drive using Recuva. However, I found that certain photos were full size, but other photos were frozen as thumbnail size of only 3-4 kb and could not be enlarged without blurring the image. Has anyone else encountered this and figured out why this happened. Thanks.
