Yes, at first the dialog box says you don't have permission to view the permissions (even tho logged in as admin), but that you can change them. after changing them for your group and user, the files are still inaccessible to delete.

tried dial-a-fix, won't work with vista home premium. anyone have any ideas?

I was having issues with adobe reader not working (v9.1), tried to uninstall and got error message access denied to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\OptionalComponents\MSFS] , there are two other forlers in the same key, 3 all together MSFS, IMAIL, and MAPI. I tried to alter permissions to no avail. then, manually deleted all files , ran ccleaner. reg keys still exist, as they were not flagged by ccleaner and are preventing reinstall of adobe reader. I know other readers are available, but would like to resolve this issue. thanks.
