Is that tool an entry in the applications Ccleaner deal with ? If yes, uncheck the box for that specific application. You also can add that specific local folder in "options/exclude/ add folder"

Thank you all. Association works now using "open with" Regedit.exe and restore is OK. I'll probably never know why the association disappeared, but that's not important. Problem solved. Best regards,

Hello all, have a problem with the restore of .reg files created by Ccleaner V2.25.1025 When i right-click the .reg file and MERGE, i receive an error msge "...reg is not a valid Win32 application" I already uninstalled previous version of Ccleaner and installed this one, but no change My system is running Win xp pro sp3 Can somebody help me please. Thank you in advance.
