Absolutely postively need to add an option to exclude selected items when running the "registry checker". It is amazing that this hasn't been added...have you tried to add more than one item using the interface provided??? It's quite painfuil and there are always quite a few things that are coming up as "errors" that aren't really errors (for example there are some registry entries for Synaptics touchpad drivers, that if removed, cause the touchpad drivers to fail badly after a reboot).
One should be able to simply check the items that one would like to exclude and then rightclick within the listbox and choose "exclude selected registry entries".
I used to use a different program that did a similar function and they had this option so that one could get rid of false-positives on subsequent scans
