Issues (registry keys) are found in the "active x and class issues" and "application paths" it does a great job of finding these issues but will not fix them ... I've tried opening the registry using "open in regeit ... hightlighting the key -- clicking deleted and get message ... "unable to delete specified value" ... if CC issues and a visit to regedit won't delete the key ... HOW DOES ONE DELETE THE INVALID KEY? ... HELP THANKS, Dave
  2. I have seven registry entries that CC cannot remove ... CC recomends physically deleting the entries ... Well, that sounds easy enough ... but I back up the registry ... set a restore point, got to regedit ... fine the usless key ... highlight it ... right click ... choose delete ... and the registry program say it cant be deleted ... Can anyone offer some suggestion ... BTW ... I was never able to use AIM ... because no matter how many times I changed my password ... logging in to AIM refused me entry ... why? password not recognized ... hell, I just change it again base on it's requirments ... it' accepts my new password ... but the new password is not recognized and I'm denied access ... what a usless peice of .......... AIM is ... dave Please help. rifalconmcri@cox.net
