Hi Although picking an XP reinstall option that would leave data untouched (or so my PC's system recovery tool said), the data from my account (but not my wifes) was lost. That is to say, Windows Explorer can't find it on the C\: drive. Is Recuva a suitable tool to apply under these circumstances? If not, can you suggest one that is? Thanks Ian
