  1. Yes, I did but no success. I have to clear these keys manually.

    Please notice =>

    I'm talking about these MRU

MRU list: Value to delete from 0a0d020000000000c000000000000046 Actions, New Mail Using, Stationery list 101f035e File, Open, Other Users Folders (OL97/2002) 101e0384 File, Open, Other Users Folders (OL2003) 101f0390 Move to Folder history 101f031e Save Sent Items folder list 101f0449 Insert, Signature dialog of the Outlook editor 101f035c Find Contact (Outlook 20072010) 101f0446 Insert > Business Card (in compose message) 101f042b

    in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\profile\0a0d020000000000c000000000000046

    And not

MRU list: Subkey Delete this value: Find Contact toolbar button (not Outlook 2010) ..\Contact\QuickFindMRU\ QuickfindMRU Find Pane’s Look in list ..\Contact\StripSearchMRU\ StripSearchMRU Appointment Locations ..\Preferences LocationMRU Advanced Find’s Search for Word(s) ..\Office Finder\ MRU 1 Advanced Find’s More Choices, Categories ..\Office Finder\ MRU 3 Choose Form dialog
New Item > More Item > Choose Form ..\Office Explorer\ Namespaces

    in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\xx.0\Outlook\

  2. That's registry key for some MRU different from those in

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\xx.0\Outlook\

    This key is

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\Outlook\0a0d020000000000c000000000000046

    Read

    http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/clearing-outlooks-most-recently-used-mru-lists/

Please: add (these) Outlook MRU deleting feature in CC. Now I have to delete manually.

    Thanks

  3. Continuing from

    http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=40918

Deleting entries in regedit with this script (see topic above) last import/export file path remains as MRU.

I've tried deleting "RoamCache" folder in C:\Users\User_Name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook but it remains.

It becomes very clear that there will be another track in somewhere on windows\outlook displaying used path file.

Event if you create new pst file, MRU remains. Instated when you create new outlook profile obviously system default path file pops up (User\documents\outlook files).

Please: add this feature in next release, it's very annoying.

    Thanks

  4. Thanks.

    Yes, it does.

    But...

It deletes old entries except the last one (both import MRU and export MRU).

Very strange issue: I tried searching for it (last MRU entry) manually in registry but I didn't find it.

Maybe this info is stored on a string value in regedit

    ????

    Sisto

  5. By,

when you Import/export a .pst file (or similar) on Outlook, used paths remain as MRU.

    Then I go on

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Outlook\Search

    and

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Outlook\Search\Catalog

to delete manually the old entries (so big list!).

Why don't you add this feature in CC (also for privacy concern...)?

    Thanks

  6. "...are the ones found broken because the network path has changed or simply the PC is not on that network at the present?"

    Yes, they are.

I understand what you say, but:

    1) there is Windows recovery roll back and ccleaner registry cleaning backup

    2) it would be a feature not a legal obligation

    3) this issue happens so many times, first of all when you use notebook on the job and then move it at home

    4) if you know how do to (that registry entry) than it's all right, otherwise these links will remain eternally

    However. it's a suggestion...

  7. Sorry If I already posted similar topic a long time ago.

Why doesn't CCleaner delete Microsoft Office MRU entries, for example "save as", "save attachment", and so on???

These entries (for each office application) are located in

    "file name MRU" (value) under

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Common\Open Find

Is not a good idea, also for privacy concern?

    Thanks

  8. Some MRU entries not matched by CClearer

    1) MS OUTLOOK => SAVE ATTACHMENT... => "FILE NAME" list (past files saved), and other. The registry key is in KEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Common\Open Find\Microsoft Office Outlook\Settings

There is one "MRU file name" key for each operation (e.g. open, save as, etc.)

    2) PAST DEVICES LIST => path's description is not so easy. The registry key is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup\Installation Sources

    Regards

  9. My suggestion for next releases.

There are some devices/driver that, when you install and uninstall sever times, get to increase o sort of counter in some device management application on windows system (xp in this case).

For example: my wireless network adapter, even I've completely uninstalled and I've scanned my pc deeply and completely with CCleaner, then, when I install it again, "sounds" as #2, #3, and so on (please see the snapshoot, sorry for italian but it's very clear).

While there are some devices (as modem or other) that you can easily delete from control panel when become #2, #3 (so you can restart from "0"), other (as that in my exemple) it's impossible (the #N is locked and managed by system). I don't like this behaviour and I would like reset these driver counters.

It's clear that in some key in registry there is a sort of installation counter or similar stuff in somewhere in the system configuration.

I hope that CCleaner someday will get this feature, even if maybe it's not so "critical".

    Regards.

  10. Congratulation and many thanks for your tool.

Please, consider this feature in your next releases.

Deleting MRU entries list located in installing new devices/driver (windows based system). Please, see: panel control/add hardware/...

The registry key is "INSTALLATION SOURCES" in (for XP and Vista)

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup.

Please, see the screenshoot in attachment (sorry for italian version of windows but I'm sure that you are able to understand just the same)

    Regards.
