Hi..
I downloaded Temp cleaner on a recommendation of a friend. However Now my laptop seems to take forever to load some of my regular sites and I think this temp thingi may have altered some of my settings..
Being a right old struggler I cant fathom out how to restore at least my system restore which I think was included in this cleanup.
It deletes
Tempory Internet files
Windows update cache
Empty recycle bin
Use envirioment variables
delete windows temp
delete cookies
delete user temp
delete history
ADVANCED---
delete system restore data
(excessive search of subdirectories ,Delete Windows prefetch ,Brute force deletion was left unticked.
Scan a hard Drive was ticked but scan path as root was not.
I would like to see if I could get my files back as they were and use ccleaner instead but after I scanned with recuver I finished up with over 40000 file scanned--Some with either a green , red or orange ring against the entry and Im afraid its a bit beyond this old duck.
I wonder if someone here could explain it better so I can understand what Ive done and where do I find out which files I can recover
