  1. Not about what it is (its a toolbar installer or something added by the uTorrent installer,) its weather it should be added to winapp2.ini in order to clean it

    Edit: may not be smart to add *.exe (uTorren.exe may be installed in the same dir,) maybe best to specify the installer.exe's full name

  2. Don't know where to start off with the Metro app's, cant figure it out. Instead I am requesting if somebody can do the Adobe Reader app

    Also doe anybody know any file(s) I can add to the exclude list that will keep MetroTwit from forgetting my login details? (I think it uses IE10 for this)

  3. New Entry for NETGEAR Router:

    [NETGEAR Genie (logs)**]

    LangSecRef=3024

    Detect1=HKLM\Software\NETGEAR Genie

    Detect2=HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\NETGEAR Genie

    Default=False

    FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\NETGEARGenie\log\|*.log

    I think Detect1 is enough, ccleaner should automatically check the Wow6432Node

  4. New

    [Adobe Customization Wizard XI*]
    LangSecRef=3021
    Detect=HKCU\Software\Adobe\Adobe Customization Wizard XI
    Default=False
    RegKey1=HKCU\Software\Adobe\Adobe Customization Wizard XI\Recent File List

  5. You should think about putting a warning for Windows Defender Definitions for Windows 8 users. I know Windows Defender sucked on Vista and 7 (this is why many people disable it) but on Windows 8 its a full antimalware solution that many will use vs paid antivirus

  6. I'm working on collecting some entries not fit for standard distribution, targeted at advanced users. I've written two so far, they can be found here

    You should also add the ccleaner lang folder

    You also should think about adding semicolon the the start of the comment lines (in case anybody mistakenly copies them)

  7. why would one consider app specific settings as junk, they must be manually set so who would want them cleaned every time ccleaner, or any time, ran

    Agreed, plus its not saving you any space or cleaning any sensitive MRU entries

    BTW you should change to warning to "This will only delete any app-specific settings."

  8. I just ran the compress registry part of jv16 powertools and it created the following files. Can I suggest the winapp2 entry for all of the jv16 versions also check for these and similar named files in the other folders?

    C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\NTUSER.DAT.tmp

    C:\Documents and Settings\NetworkService\NTUSER.DAT.tmp

    You need to make sure they are NOT temp files set to replace the current DAT file on next boot (I suspect they could be)

  9. Fix

    [innoExtractor*]
    LangSecRef=3021
    DetectFile=%LocalAppData%\InnoExtractor\InnoExtractor.exe
    Default=False
    FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\InnoExtractor|Historial.dat

    Added EXE because CCleaner might still show the option after uninstall (because the directory may not be deleted by uninstaller)

  10. No longer in development but still pretty much alive

    [mirkes.de Tiny Hexer*]
    LangSecRef=3021
    Detect=HKCU\Software\mirkes.de\Tiny Hexer
    Default=False
    FileKey1=%AppData%\mirkes.de\Tiny Hexer\*|*.bak

  11. Universal Extractor (the updated one)

    [universal Extractor*]
    LangSecRef=3024
    Detect=HKCU\Software\UniExtract
    Default=False
    RegKey1=HKCU\Software\UniExtract\Directory
    RegKey2=HKCU\Software\UniExtract\File

    BTW you may wan to double check your ini for Wow6432Node RegKeys

  12. Thanks for the update, I just wanna point out that this will break .net4 uninstall

    [Microsoft.NET Cache*]
    LangSecRef=3025
    Detect=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.NETFramework
    Default=False
    FileKey1=%WinDir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\SetupCache|*.*|RECURSE
    FileKey2=%WinDir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\SetupCache|*.*|RECURSE

    You can fix uninstall by deleting the uninstall entries for setup.exe in SetupCache and unhide the uninstall entries of the MSI's

    FileKey3=%WinDir%\Microsoft.NET\NETFXRepair*
    RegKey1=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile
    RegKey2=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Extended
    ; Client x64
    RegKey3=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{F5B09CFD-F0B2-36AF-8DF4-1DF6B63FC7B4}\SystemComponent
    ; Client x86
    RegKey4=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{3C3901C5-3455-3E0A-A214-0B093A5070A6}\SystemComponent
    ; Extended x64
    RegKey5=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{8E34682C-8118-31F1-BC4C-98CD9675E1C2}\SystemComponent
    ; Extended x86
    RegKey6=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{0A0CADCF-78DA-33C4-A350-CD51849B9702}\SystemComponent

    BTW I make a slim/updated .net4 installer with the setup stuff removed if anyone does not like the setup junk

    Edit: added NETFXRepair* (this is only used by setup.exe) and fixed RegKey's

  13. There is a problem with this entry, there is a blank variable

    [iMVU Downloaded Installer*]
    LangSecRef=3022
    DetectFile=%AppData%\IMVUClient\installer\
    Default=False
    FileKey1=%    %\IMVUClient\installer|*.*|RECURSE

  14. New entries (more info)

    [Adobe Customization Wizard 8*]
    LangSecRef=3021
    Detect=HKCU\Software\Adobe\Adobe Customization Wizard 8
    Default=False
    RegKey1=HKCU\Software\Adobe\Adobe Customization Wizard 8\Recent File List

    [Adobe Customization Wizard 9*]
    LangSecRef=3021
    Detect=HKCU\Software\Adobe\Adobe Customization Wizard 9
    Default=False
    RegKey1=HKCU\Software\Adobe\Adobe Customization Wizard 9\Recent File List

    [Adobe Customization Wizard X*]
    LangSecRef=3021
    Detect=HKCU\Software\Adobe\Adobe Customization Wizard X
    Default=False
    RegKey1=HKCU\Software\Adobe\Adobe Customization Wizard X\Recent File List

  15. I could do this if you guys would like me to.

    Perhaps I could make different file sets, 1 "full" winapp2.ini that is as it is now, and 1 "reduced" one, that'd have entries removed and placed in the separate "winsys2.ini"

    I think its a gr8 idea
