  1. kmillerusaf, thanks for the link. The page had another link to download a winapp2.ini file which I opened to the ccleaner folder. Now when I go to right click ccleaner icon , open properties, click Find target, the winapp.ini and winapp2.ini files are there. I opened thw winapp2.ini file and scrolled down to bottom, pasted the above adobe code and clicked off. I tried to get rid of some recent files in the adobe reader 9 window but ccleaner just not getting it done. The above code is alittle different than the one I found in one of the reference winapp2.ini folder that contained other codes for different programs. Ifeel that I am so close to solving this issue with all of your help Thanks
  2. So it looks like I put the code in the winapp file of ccleaner. My question is where is the winapp2 file? Do I make up my own? How do you make one? Do I put it in the same location as the winapp file?
  3. So I right clicked the ccleaner icon, clicked on properties, clicked on find target, clicked on winapp icon, scrolled to the bottom and pasted the quoted lines, exited out and was prompted to accept new settings. Ran ccleaner and the files in the history section of adobe 9 reader are still there. It just won't clean them out. Any other ideas? Or did I do it wrong?
  4. I'm alittle confused. Do I copy and paste the the code you gave me above on to notepad? Then do I right click on the CCleaner icon and then hit properties? Then what do I do? I can't figure out where to go to drop that code. I'm confused about winapp2.ini
  5. Why won't ccleaner remove the adobe pdf files I peruse in the history portion of adobe reader 9? The older version of ccleaner would delete these files when I ran the ccleaner. I noticed that adobe reader is not listed on the applications list on ccleaner. My other version had it listed and always deleted the pdf file history on adobe. Is there anyway to add adobe reader on the applications list for ccleaner? I noticed that the adobe flashplayer is listed but not the reader.
