  1. I ran this and the result was Browser activity(Chrome) took many minutes for "Resolve DNS' to clear. There was no problem before. I run Intel 930 and 12gb of memory with TP-LINK Router and Motorola Modem. I just ran TWEAKING.COM 4.04 and it seems to have cleaned up the system. Before I ran CCleaner I turned off checking Chrome Cookies.
  2. CRAZY I downloaded the zip file and in the processing things got loaded to a TEMP folder. I finally found the zip and much to my surprise I found an executable of the 5460 version. It ran and worked. What the problem was or is I have no idea. Thanks for the suggestions. I wonder what else is hidden there.
  3. I tried Slim and it won't install. Windows won't install. Says it can't find device, path, file. I have unblocked it as it came from another computer. I run it as Administrator and have set properties to Administrator. I will try in SAFE with NETWORK. SAFE alone didn't work. Frustrating
  4. I downloaded Slim Version and Windows won't install it. Message indicates it can't find device, path, file, or I don't have necessary permissions. I did UNBLOCK it as it came from another computer. I run it under Administrator with full authority. FRUSTRATING.
  5. I removed the 5.12 version and after Restart tried to install 5.13 with the same problem. I then tried to install 5.12 again and had the same issue. I now have NO CCleaner.
  6. I deleted the 5.12 Version and tried 5.13 with no luck. I then tried to install the 5.12 version with the same issue
  7. I am having a problem installing 5.13. I get to a screen that recommends Google Chrome and INSTALL is greyed out. I have tried the version from both Filehippo and Piriform with the same results. My machine is Windows 7 Professional 64bit. I DON'T have IE available. Do I need to remove the old version and then upgrade
  8. I downloaded ccsetup513.exe and it runs till a page recommending Google Chrome. The only active action is BACK. Does CCLEANER require IE? I don't have it, only FireFox. From 512 I go nowhere when I click to check for updates. I run Windows 7 Professional 64bit

    Unwanted Clean

I have just downloaded CCleaner and when I clicked ANALYZE I received a list of items that would all be deleted If I chose RUN CLEANER. The problem is that some of the entries seem to point to items I don't want to remove. There is no way to indicate that these should NOT be cleanedup. Help.
