Yes I can when I run the Mcafee cleaner it does not lose disk space but actually frees some?

windows vista home premium 32 bit editionthe latest ccleaner version right now : v2.17.853

Everytime after running CCleaner I always seem to lose disk space,but it's supposed to clear free space right? I check my computer hard drive and it continously lowers the space,but after uninstalling a program or little file it will go back up but does it everytime after I run CCleaner again. Any ideas why?
