  1. Strange. Did you change the default configuration, e.g. add some includes?
  2. I am sorry that my name lead to confusion, but it's not so easy to change it Thanks for the explanation but this is not my point. I want to include a FULL drive to be cleaned. If there are folders, I want them to be deleted. Simply try it yourself: add a DRIVE letter, NOT a folder, and wildcards will not be accepted.

Hi, is this because ccleaner gets the "system information" only from the currently running OS? Would make sense though ...
  4. Hi, I am running Windows 7, and just tried it as it is not my primary operating system. Having run the latest build of ccleaner with standard configuration (2.17.853) and cleaning, I could still access the gadgets page and also add new ones to the desktop as expected. Please let me know which build of Win7 you are using, is it the official beta 7000? Regards Davy
  5. Hi, the possibility to in- and exclude files and folders for me personally is a great feature. It makes ccleaner a very flexible tool which I wouldn't like to miss in the future. One issue I am having with it is, that it doesn't allow to include *.* from a drive. If I select a drive, the "ok" button is grayed out. Why do I want to do this? On my systems I use to make use of a partition for all temporary files, and also the windows %temp% and %tmp% variable pathes are directing to there. Now of course I do want to remove all files during the - very nicely automated - way of ccleaner cleaning up. Thank you! Davy
  6. My question is: why did you add the Y! Toolbar to your installation? Are you sponsored by them? I would understand in that case, it is just for my information because I usually am annoyed when a software comes with stuff I really don't need :-)
  7. Well - if you have a large hard disk and a lot of free space there it is expected to take ages. But you want to overwrite it on purpose, so the cleaning process is wanted no? Please also note that if you select the "secure" option it will perform several cycles to really make sure no traces are left...
