IE8 now has InPrivate filtering which builds a history of images and javascript files from web sites you visit and allows you to block, or blocks automatically. This does not get cleared when IE's history is cleared, nor does CCleaner pick it up. I'd suggest adding this for IE8 installs. The file in question, in my Vista installation is located at C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\PrivacIE\Low - this will of course vary on XP, but it's a starting point for you
