When I run the cleaner it says "333.3MB removed. Secure file deletion enabled - Simple Overwrite (1 pass)" No matter what the setting of security option it always has the above message (obviously the number of bytes changes). Regards, HG

Understood YoKenny, but my concern is that if I'm setting an option and CC is just ignoring it then it might be ignoring other options I set. Should it be possible to do multiple overwrites? Thanks, HG

I've clicked the "Secure File Deletion(Slower)" button and selected each of the options in the drop down, but no matter what I select CCleaner just does a simple overwrite (1 pass). Am I doing something wrong? I've just downloaded and installed the latest version from the website 2.16.830. Thanks in advance... HG.
