  1. Wanna know where you have been? For Win 7 computers, open regedit navigate to HKLM/software/Microsoft/windows nt/currentversion/networklist/nla/cache It shows places that I haven't been for over a year. CCleaner should offer to clear them. Next HKLM/software/Microsoft/windows/currentversion/homegroup/networklocations might have some information that would be better unshared Next, more information about where the laptop has been is at HKLM/software/Microsoft/windows nt/currentversion/networklist/profiles also look at the two categories in profiles (next major key)...again, there is a trail. Another worrisome key to laptop tracing is at HKLM/software/Microsoft/windows nt/currentversion/networklist/nla/wireless However, I cannot decode all of those keys, but I suspect that a trail is in there.
  2. I dont know if this is a bug or a consequence of changes made by Microsoft and the interaction with ccleaner 64 bit. ccleaner 3.26.1888 (64-bit) and many previous editions appears to resize office 2010 dialog boxes without reporting what it is changing. I have traced this (FINALLY !) to <ccleaner> Windows Explorer-Other Explorer MRUs. Uncheck that box, and the Office file-open-dialog boxes do not resize. I cannot tell right now if this is specific to Win 7 XP Home SP1 and Ofc 2010, since my other computers still run XP and 2003. But allowing the MRUs to clear causes the dialog windows (like File-Open) to resize back to their defaults. This is true even if Office 2010 box on the ccleaner application list is cleared. An investigation into registry changes caused by ccleaner on win 7 home premium SP1 shows this key [HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-2452175375-133370985-4051299857-1001\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ComDlg32] being removed. Restoring that key puts the open-file dialog boxes back into office 2010. What I do not know is whether this is a Win 7 change or an Ofc 2010 change. And I do not know the consequence of the "other explorer MRU" checkbox in ccleaner BUT ccleaner deletes registry entries and does not show them. Can we get this fixed? Can we get a separate checkbox for COMDLG32 in explorer? Or is this the only entry deleted by the checkbox "other explorer MRUs?" Thanks
  3. There is another issue with ccleaner and MS 2010 / Windows 7. Running ccleaner resizes all of the dialogue boxes to their defaluts. And I cannot find the hooks to keep these unchanged. The diaologe box size is not in index.dat (C:\Users\USER\Application Data\Microsoft\Office\Recent\index.dat). And I cannot find them in the registry. But whereever they are, ccleaner is cleaning them. And not reporting it.
  4. I have the same problem. I see no solution.
