  1. Hey all I'm a new member to the site and I'm having a bit of trouble with the Recuva program. When I run a regular scan it's having no problems. It will scan 100% and show me the deleted files. When I run a deep scan I'm getting this error; "The drive can not find the sector requested" I am scanning using the Wizard. I've tried scanning for all files/pics/music and changing the file location from C:\ to I'm not sure (to search everywhere on the computer). I also changed to advanced mode and changed the actions. But every time I attempt a deep scan I keep getting the same message; "the drive can not find the sector requested". Can someone please tell me how to go about fixing this. I have read through the forums before posting. I have ran chkdsk /R at startup and then reran the scan with the same results. I am running MS Windows XP SP3 / Intel Celeron M processor 1.70GHz, 446MB RAM, ATI RADEON XPRESS 200M Series on a Toshiba Satellite Laptop. As a side note* I also wondered how people are placing screen captures in their post? thank you in advance, Hempknight
