Ta for the complement on the Avatar. Its on a Photoshop master and can be updated weekly a la Simpsons. Polite contributions are welcome.

Thanks to all for help. Don't know for sure which cure fixed it but after running MBAM as suggested by YoKenny and rebooting the problem had gone. Still getting the hang of the site but meantime I've tidied up my Avatar and signature. Small touches but maybe I wont look so green. Ta again.

Thanks for the quick reply which made me realise where I was going wrong. I'll go about it with my anti-virus and your suggestion of unlocking if that doesn't work. Keep you posted for your info. Ta David

I have the latest version of CCleaner but it can't get rid of this, ppcrlui_4904_2, not ppcrlui_4904_23 as noted in the post heading. Neither can I find what it is or how to get rid of it from my Vista Ultimate.
