  1. Option to defrag a drive and then shutdown the computer as soon as it is finished, so people can start it when they go to bed.
  2. Why not restart it and leave it running overnight?

    Quick Q.

I recover all files for a drive, in the status bar it says something like What are these ignored files?
  4. You mean those sites are just sites I have bookmarked? In that case it is fine, I thought it was browsing history left over.
  5. Yes but you can easily turn the Windows firewall back on yourself manually.
  6. Will this work on virtual encrypted drives? And is it safe to go ahead and use it on them?
  7. Instead of making a new thread I'll ask here, would the same logic apply for two software firewalls even if one of them was the Windows firewall?
  8. (Version 3.0.8) Why is it when I delete my Firefox private data- all of it- and restarting a list of previously used sites still show up in the drop down address bar?
  9. Maybe they just knew how many files the laptop had before and after.
  10. 1. Yes but this would be useful and be so easy to do and wouldn't add bulk. 2. Ah thanks. I don't have the most recent version you see, I'll go get it now
  11. Here are 2 suggestions, the at least the first will be easy to implement and will not bulk CCleaner. 1. In the tools section for Startup and Add/Remove programs, any new items in the list should be highlighted. This would attract the user's attention at a glance to anything new which maybe shouldn't be there. "New" can be taken to mean anything which has appeared in the last x days or anything which has appeared since the list was last viewed. 2. In the cleaner section add an option to overwrite free space on the drive. This is to help prevent anything which has already been deleted from being recovered. Just in case stuff in the sensitive past has been deleted without being shredded. Paranoid users will like this option.
  12. As in, a program to ensure any files that are already deleted can't be recovered. Thanks
