  1. I don't know that this is necessarily a Firefox problem, because I use Firefox exclusively, and I just switched back to an earlier CCleaner version 2.11.636, and it cleaned up my unwanted cookies list just fine. It seems that the problem is with all the versions of CCleaner after 2.11.636. I don't use Internet Explorer, so I can't say if the newer versions of CCleaner delete the unwanted cookie list with IE or not.
  2. Thanks for the welcome. I moved one of my cookies that I usually save into my delete list and ran CCleaner, and CC deleted that particular cookie, even though it still remained in the delete list along with all the others when it finished. So I'm assuming that CC continues to delete the cookies even though they still all show up on the list. However, when I run CC and look at what's been deleted in the main window afterwards, I don't see a list of cookies that have been deleted along with cache, temporary files, etc. so I'm still not sure about what's going on. By the way, my wife also uses CCleaner on her computer, and she has the same situation. But I'm thinking that CC probably continues to delete my unwanted cookies even though the list of cookies to delete still remains after a cleaning.
  3. Answered my own question. Thanks anyway.
  4. Sorry if this topic has already been covered. I've been using CCleaner for years, and I love it. I generally run CCleaner once a day. Today I ran it, and then I decided to check my list of cookies to see if there were any in my save list that I wanted to move to my delete list. All of the cookies on my delete list were still there. I ran CCleaner a couple more times, but the cookies were still there. I then went to Firefox and deleted all cookies from there and then went back to CCleaner, and all the cookies were still there. I ran CCleaner a couple more times, but all the cookies are still there. Is is possible that the cookies are actually gone but CCleaner says they're still there? Thanks for your help.
