  1. Sorry, I never mentioned I"m using XP SP3. I appreciate the info, guys. I'm afraid I'm not that good with computers. So, what I"ve done for the time being was unchecked the "Delete index.dat files" box from the options window. Not exactly sure if this is what I need to do, or more important, should do, but I did so and tried it and it works. No more user name and passwords are deleted. Thanks for the help. If there's anything more you can help me with don't hesitate to do so. Thanks again.
  2. I've just started to use CCleaner, when my Trend Micro program was no longer supported, and I like it a lot. I downloaded it while I had IE7. It worked fine, as in it wouldn't delete my stored "saved" cookies (forum user names and passwords.) However, I've updated to IE8 Beta and it deletes all my cookies, including the 'saved' cookies. So I'm asking, is CCleaner IE8 compatible, or do I have another problem? The problem is I have to re-enter all my user names and passwords whenever I shut down (restart) my PC. This is very annoying, to say the least, so before I go off on a big quest to solve my problem, I'd like to know if this problem is known, or if there is no compatibility with IE8 Beta. Thanks for the help. EDIT: BTW, I deleted CCleaner from my PC and then downloaded it again after I installed IE8 Beta. I also noticed this website runs really sluggish with IE8 Beta, but just fine with MSN Explorer.
