  1. I kind of lean toward the freebie tools as well..thus why I use CrapCleaner and Disk Defrag. Never heard of Defraggler until you posted about it. I plan on trying that one out. Thanks!
  2. Good question. As far as I can tell it does not list what is junk or where they are at. After running the Disk Defrag it says this off to the right: 4,175 JUNK FILES FOUND Disk Defrag has found junk files on your computer. This an an estimate only. Junk files are files that are left behind by programs, taking up free disk space, slowing down your computer and making defragmentation less efficient. That's all it says.
  3. I use Auslogis free Disk Defragmenting program and it always shows the amount of junk files it finds at the end of a defragmenting run. I have run CrapCleaner numerous times and it seems that Auslogics is finding thousands of what it considers to be junk files. Of course, they are trying to sale you their Boost Speed program to clean those up, but my question is why it it finding so many, even after running CrapCleaner? When I run Auslogics like after a clean install it will only find a few...as time goes on it finds many, many more. I use CrapCleaner all the time, but want to make sure it's not missing a lot of files. Thanks!
