I've finally deleted it!! Many thanks for all your help.

I have recently found that a cookie .2o7.net has appeared on my internet files. It is not in one of my 'included' cookies but CCleaner does not delete it. Why is this/ What can I do to delete it?

Occasionally, the analysis says there are a number of mbs. to be removed but the Cleaner only removes part of them. Why is this please?

Thanks Davey and Augeas. After analyse and remove CC says there are no bytes to be removed. Could you explain Davey what you mean by 'other users areas' please

There are not thousands of files but a considerable number. Yes, I look at the files after running CC but my IE is closed. I do have a number of cookies retained in the exclusion section but the files to which a refer do not only relate to these but others which are excluded

When I run the Cleaner it informs me that the temporary internet files have been deleted. However, when I view my files under the tools section of Internet Exlorer, I find they are still there. Can you explain please.
