Thanks, Davey! Rebooting didn't do it, but I've looked at all the links you sent and saved some of the info. Also took a better look at what C Cleaner was doing. I think that it does remove everything except for that 20.88 KB that it keeps listing as "to be removed." Under the heading "Details of files to be removed," it always says "c:\Documents and settings\All users\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr. Watson\user.dmp20.99 KB". Upon Googling "Dr. Watson," I find that it's supposed to be in Windows XP, which I have, but I'm not sure about that "user.dmp" part. Maybe I'm lucky that it isn't getting removed, but then the question becomes why it's always listed as "to be removed". Maybe I should just ignore it. (Kind of like what my doctor tells me about some of my aches and pains.) In both cases, the M.D.'s and the PC, sometimes it really is best to just leave it alone rather than take the risks of messing with it. What do you think?

Someone had installed a very old version of CCleaner on my computer. It was new to me, but it seemed to be working fine. I decided to download and install the new version, 2.11.636. Now whenever I run Analyze for any item, the Cleaner says "20.88 KB to be removed." I click Run Cleaner. It seems to run, but then says "0 KB removed." I run Analyze again, and it still says "20.88 KB to be removed." It does this with Temporary Internet Files, Cookies, History, and all the rest. The Registry, Tools, and Options parts seem to work fine, but the Cleaner doesn't work. I tried replacing everything that I had allowed to be removed from the registry, but the Cleaner still didn't work. I tried downloading the new version all over again, but the same thing still happens. What can be wrong? What can I do? Thank you.
