    Selling my laptop

Maybe I should be contacting ACER, but maybe u know.... I have a program on here called eRecovery Management. And, looks like there is an option to "restore system to factory default". Would that work? (i'm not at all a computer guru....so hopefully these questions dont sound stupid... )

    Selling my laptop

Sorry maybe I should be more specific.... Specs: Acer Aspire 5100 Windows XP Media Center Ed I do not have the OS disc....(I think because this is a demo computer?....got it for a really good price) I have a "Express Upgrade to Windows Vista DVD", and a "Acer Upgrade DVD".....which I never used. I also have a back-up disc from a LONG time ago.....made it closer to the time I purchased the computer, but I dont think I made it upon first use.

    Slooooow start-up

My computer is really slow upon start-up. I dont think it's virus related cuz i just recently went thru my comp with someone on "Spyware hell" and cleaned off a bunch of stuff. I use Norton Antivirus,Ad-Aware,Spyblaster,SpyGuard,CCleaner...and i defragment monthly (when i remember) Maybe i should be deleting/disabling some programs?....i know there are some i need, but others i'm not too sure about. suggestions?
  6. OS: Windows XP-Media center ed. Is there such thing as an audio virus? I keep hearing these sounds at any given time(browser open or not/no music applications running). Sometimes its music, sometimes sounds like advertising, and sometimes it's a splash of water sound. I've scanned with the lastest version of Norton(found some trojans that were removed), i've also run CCleaner and ad-aware many times. What else should i do??
