As I have posted earlier , the same files were copied to another drive & folder and it took enough time to have that listed too , with AVIRA off. Might be it has to be practically seen.

Hi, Can you give a checkbox beside all the folders listed AFTER ANALYSIS for the user to decide (if it mattered) before he pressess "RUN CLEANER". Of course the default will be all the checkboxes will be ticked , and the user has to untick it if he does not want that to be deleted. I have posted a certain issue in another thread which has the significance.If I wanted that folder untouched for further inspection. Now I have deliberately removed that folder from "INCLUDE" option.

I am afraid , even that is to no avail...

Normal File deletion and Wipe MFT free space

Hi, I checked it with AVIRA closed down.Also I copied all those files into another drive and folder (with AVIRA closed down)and later included that folder in CCleaner. In both these cases too , CCleaner took an enormous time and CPU hogging. I believe it has to do with the method. In my test case the folder included about 10000 files and 43 MB.

I use AVIRA and I have included C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Avira\AntiVir Desktop\INFECTED\ by Options>> include. Once I found CC taking immensely long to list say some 500 infected items. When the progress bar was at 50% I cancelled it and clicked "Run cleaner". Even while cleaning the quarantine items it took a while , but it cleaned 100% . I think the speed can be improved here.

I just now upgraded from 2.33 to 2.34. The settings are remembered now. I took care to export all the settings to INI file as suggested before upgrading. Thanks.

Usually I download a fresh copy of CCleaner and run everytime a download site informs me. Unfortunately whatever I do in Options >> Include >> (Custom files for deleting) gets lost on every update? I had to include them on every new version.. 2.Can you also give a SINGLE BOX tick header for all the freebies. It is quite enervating to untick the option one by one..

First of all CCleaner is a great software.The feature I want is to choose what to erase at startup.For example Recycle bin needs another look before cleaning and not at startup.This way the software becomes more user friendly.Thanks.
