What exactly does the advance section do? I have vista and not sure if any of the items should or should not be checked. I don't understand any of those areas. Help thanks

Does CCleaner acutally remove forever all items clean so that they never can be traced?

Will the Erase 5.7 work with Vista or is there something else that will work. I took inherited a system with embarassing data and would like to enusre this data is ereased forever.
