To make things quick and easy just do this:
1. Start a command prompt (start, run, cmd.exe)
2. Paste into the command prompt window the following parameters:
move "%userprofile%\desktop\ccleaner.lnk" "%allusersprofile%\desktop"
3. Done!
you are very knowledgeable
Thanks for the run command

Log in as the Administrator.
Right click Start > Explore All Users.
Create a CCleaner folder and put the CCleaner shortcuts there.
Wow that sounds easy thanks.
Now If I understand you correctly .
I go to the Admin User that has CCleaner installed, and I send a shortcut to my desktop,
then I right click the Start key(explore all users) and Drag/copy or Drag/move
that new shortcut(2) to the other Users desktop.
Or as you say place in a folder
Did I get It correctly?

Hello the Group - reading through the posts - you seem to cover
topics very well. I have a problem with Zone Alarm at the moment:
keep getting a message box saying "Generic Host Process for Win32
Services is blocked from accepting an Internet Coneection."
Could anyone please give advice on this if I gave more background
details ? - the build up to it is fairly lengthy and a bit complicated.
Many thanks in advance.

Here is the setting on my PC- it works for me and should work for you

I never had a problem deleting everything it found/displayed

avast! on one of my PC's

Some uninstallers do not remove everything
My friend uninstalled McAfee internet security and he sees folders and files on his C drive with wording McAfee.
So I recommend a search feature in CCleaner to "search and use brute force to remove all files and folder that contain the word in a new CCleaner search bar.
This new feature would be an advanced feature to only use
after you run a uninstall

Always a good idea to clean out your temp file every few days or so, especially if you do a lot of progams installing/uninstalling. To do thi manually, just go Start>Run> and type "%temp" (Without the quotes but WITH the percent signs). This will bring up your temp file. This can be quite large, and could easily account for the 251mb of data. To clean it, just Select All the files and hit the delete key. You may notice some files don't delete, but throw up an error dialogue. This is just because they are being used by Windows. - Get rid of all of these and your system will run a bit better.
...............................................
Or you can go to "My Computer" and type
%temp%
to open the temp folder
and here is a picture I made for you.
And by the way - I tested the Run and its
%temp%

I found a feature in my Spybot S&D to remove those old MSCONFIG start up 's
and it worked great. and I see I can also do the same delete in a feature in our CCleaner. - Take a look ---

Hey i was just wondering is there any point to having ore then one anti-virus on your computer. I know one might miss some stuff and the other might find it but other then that is there any good reasons. If there is a good reason to have 2 could some one give me some recommendations for a good free one
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Its best to use one anti virus , as others have mentioned here ,two or more resident AV may conflict with each other.
I use Avast! 4 Home version and its been great for me. I turned on the automatic Updates. And they have lots of easy to replace Skins to suit your taste.
I feel very confident in avast AV protection and they have quick answering support on questions I asked them.. Also recommend the avast Forum ..
My former AV was Norton version 2005 internet security and it was using too much of my computer resources , so I removed it couple of months ago.
I have 2 PC's one windows 98 SE with avast AV and the other XP Sp2 that came with McAfee, but I will also place avast on the XP computer ibefore year end.
