  1. Hello, I'm hoping someone here can help me out. While trying to purge a virus, I was in the tools section on CCleaner and I inadvertantly uninstalled ARPCache from my system. Ever since my computer has had problems running (slow even when CPU usage 25% or lower) Also windows explorer [not internet explorer] no longer functions correctly (has errors shuts down mid work). I don't know how much of this has been caused by my messing things up trying to get rid of the virus and how much is still the virus (which is mostly gone, but still causes a few pop-ups) The original infection was SystemDefender - a pop-up rogue anti-spyware thing. This still pops up from time to time. Also I've got something that hijacks my browser every time I click on a link in a search list. (i.e. I search google and once I have a list of results, when I try to click on them I get redirected to some search engine I've never heard of [v3m or something similar]) I know this forum is for CCleaner, but as I said I don't know how much of my problem is caused by virus infection on my system and how much is damage I did uninstalling things I needed w/ CCleaner. Any advice or suggesions on where to look to try and fix this (and/or get rid of my virus problems)?
