  1. I don't think it actually deletes the history if unchecked but there are two lines in the log about this:
  2. After locating the registry entry and denying change or deletion to this value it somehow got reset to 50 yet again after using CCleaner and restarting afterwards.
  3. After running CCleaner I noticed now several times the cache size for the Temporary Internet Files got reset from 250MB to 50. Is there a way to trace what exactly is setting this back to 50?
  4. Personally it is very helpful to keep certain cookies from being deleted so that (tool) gave me the idea that you could do the same with the (Internet Explorer) history as well. The reason for me to keep some sites in the history is because of the "visited" marking of hyperlinks that I already viewed. This is only one reason for doing such a thing, maybe somebody else would find this a useful addition.
