If it asked you did you want to make a backup of the issues clean and you said yes, they are put by default in my documents.

 

Looks like a white sheet of paper with blue blocks on (a .reg file)

 

Right click on it and chose merge, choose the latest one first if you have lots. Todays for instance would read cc_20080120

 

 

The e-mails are not coming back after restoring the back-up to the registry

Are you able to restore the registry from the backup and get your emails back?

 

 

Where in CCleaner do I find the option to restore a back-up?

The problem occurs when I clean the registry.

None of the files shown on the screen is referring to Outlook Express File path

There are no settings in CCleaner to delete emails. I Know

 

Have you chosen any custom files and folders to delete? No

 

Is this using just the cleaner or the 'issues' registry cleaner? I haven't checked that, yet (There is nothing in my mailbox now)

 

What is your operating system and build of CCleaner? MS Windows XP SP2 and CCleaner V2.03.532

every time I run CCleaner, all the contents of all the Outlook Express mailboxes are deleted. How do I switch this off?
