Only 2nd time run CC so a Newbie Just run CC ,all seemed well. apart from I found bits left over from uninstalling [ via disc as CC told me previously ] MS office 97 2 bits were;;; progs\ MSOffice\office\ Findfast.EXE and OSA.EXE in startup tray so I deleted in CC. and did a restart. I thought I had solved a problem I have had for months, with resizing photos, to Email in Outlook express.Which I used to be able to do easily, as you should by, selecting pictures and then selecting "Send pictures by email" >click make pictures smaller ;;;grrr.. this brings up" Microsoft exchange setup wizard" which wants me to setup to use microsoft mail. Whilst this was open I opened Task Manager which confirmed above wizard running I highlight and went to "go to Process" and it says "explorer.exe" MY OE6 is working fine will attach photos full size only and will insert also in main body of email. IT is when I want to resize ,make smaller above happens, happens in Picasa as well. CC says its fixed everything which was mostly uninstaller software.. MY PC works fine and I have 80% free disc space and I am a boring surfer , dont download music or anything. Any one know how I find this dratted wizard and Kill it. Just because I have idea what happening does not mean I understand why. Help. Hopefully Gale

Hope this is right place. Just run CCcleaner. no problems just cookies . Hoped it would get rid of........ I was hoping it would get rid of this pesky wizard that wants to send my Emails, when I have resized either by My pictures, or Picasa [photo organiser by google. These worked last time I used them but that was June last year. All I've done since then is upgrade Picasa and install open office. My problem I dont know when this started as have not used for 10 months. I have googled every question I can think off;either to simple ot to tech. My Email is OE 6 which works Ok, and I can add a fullsize photo by attachment and docs;if I resize photos in picasa and make new file I can add multiple photos..SCream. Its when I resize as above; its as if link added,but not by me. I do not have MS office. Anyone who can think of a way to get rid; I would worship from afar! Any help would be appreciated Thanks in hopful anticipation

Dear Davey, sorry for delay; thankyou for replying and reminding me to think. Had a "OH dear I've screwed up moment" I believe CCworking fine, when I closed and closed PC as well, when I turned on again appeared happy. Had very little under analazis except temporary files and cookies, and shortcuts to files that gone. I stupidly got rid of cookies that carrying passwords. [just to forums type cookies]] ;I won't do that again! I did clean registry and PC seems to load quicker. Was not a lot to clean, I saved that log ,but its not there! tho others are,got em in Docs now. Read where you Kindly directed me and will follow your progress with interest. Solved the unloading Office97 by taking 2 days to find disc[ have beautiful clean,tidy cupboards} well HE indoors had to find it as He'd moved it. System Windows XP SP2 windows firewall Avira Antivirus Personal ed. classic No malware But never had problem. Broardband turned off when not in use which Mal ware??

Real Newbie. Help please downloaded CCleaner yesterday My first attempt and I think the above happened to me, ie error then closed and nothing happened so closed as above says. But MS closed it the first time and wanted me to send error report. is this the same? I thought I saved the first analize list but cant find it. The 2nd log in CCleaner I saved is under CCleaner but in program Files ,how do I put it somewhere else? Sorry for being a thicko. How do I do a Screenshot to save and send? I have MS office 97 which wants the disc to uninstall I have lost the disc;will CCleaner uninstall this program? I am now nervous about cleaning the registry;
