Hi sakura, thanks for the info, my oriental written language recognition isn't what it used to be . In the end I created a restore point and deleted them, figuring I didn't need them as i'd never seen them before. After a full shutdown and re-boot they haven't reappeared. Job done I think, thanks again.

Hi, having just updated this morning to try and rid my startup menu of a stubborn entry (another story) i've noticed 2 entries written in Japanese. They weren't there yesterday so I can only assume there appearance has something to do with this mornings update. Screen shot: I have no idea what they are, i cannot copy/paste the characters into google either. They may have been there yesterday but in English and so i wouldn't have noticed them. Has the update changed the language of these 2 entries or are they new? If new where have they come from? I cannot find any reference to these entries anywhere on the net.
