Updated to the newest verison of Avast! today before work. i get home and there's a crap load of virus alerts on my laptop. (WIN32:Delf-MZG trojan) Now i knew something had to be wrong because Ive never gotten a virus. so i went over to Avast forums and low and behold it wasnt just me. So just wanted to let you guy know not to update till its fixed. og\h and have fun loading the Avast forums there are so many people on there its really slow.
You know somethings up when Avast says Blackberry desktop software, Zune player etc are a trojan.

Have you tried a chkdsk?
Can take a fair while to run and is no guarantee it will work.
You can right click C drive - Properties - Tools - Error-checking/Check Now and select both options which will prompt to run checkdisk at next reboot.
yeah i tried that to bro. that was the first thing i thought of that and sfc/scannow
-
Have you tried the steps listed here?
yeah sadly i tried those

Firefox RC1 is still a beta so of course its going to have flaws. And there's nothing special in opera that firefox hasn't got IMO.
i agree wth u bro.

Ad-aware 2007 was a major disappointment. It has turned into bloatware, and I only hope that 2008 will be an improvement.
is it any better? cause i dont want to be disappointed again like i was wth 2007

I have always used registry mechanic, and then started using glarys, but i have just seen some bad reports on glary so tempted to not use it.
So what is the best?
Thanks
hey bro i use to use Registry Mechanic, and glary but both started to cause me problems..so i just use CCleaners Registy tool along wth Wise Registry Cleaner.

After the final is released I usually wait for a couple updates before I switch over. By that time all my extensions and themes will be updated to work with it and most of the bugs will be worked out. Thats what I did with 1 and 1.5 and 2.
yeah i should have done that when 2 came out because i used the the RC and i lost all my bookmarks..luckily Xp has system restore.lol

im using it know as i type. the new design is alright but i wish my favortie (Nokia) theme worked oo well. but yeah im using it as a portable app so i still have FF 2.
doesn't seem to suck away at my memory as bad as it can i FF2.
all in all aint bad. but hope they improve it a little before its final is released.
