  1. Thank you, good advice. I do backup prior to cleaning though. I have a separate backup location for each account. Any idea why it only displays on the admin profile?
  2. I had an issue updating CCleaner Pro to the latest version today. I kept getting a pop up indicating an "invalid handle". I eventually had to uninstall, then reinstall CCleaner and apply my key. It seems to be functioning correctly now. After tweaking it to my preferences and scanning my registry I was reminded to contact you about an issue I am having. When cleaning my registry a collection of registry files prefixed with an "I" appear. The 'Problem' it indicates is a "Missing TypeLib Reference". Quite a bit of registry items, 46 to be exact. I removed/Fixed them. Then after a rescan, they all reappear. To name a few for example: What is "IGetItemPropertiesCallback"? What is "IFile Sync Client7"? What is "ISyncEngineEvents"? Oddly, take note that this only occurs when signed in on my Admin account. When logged in to other accounts CCleaner does not locate these items. Can you confirm what is going on with this activity? Could it be a security issue? This seems extremely strange to me. Another frequent repeater is a Missing TypeLib Reference for Microsoft "OneNote" and/or an invalid icon for the same.
  3. Windows XP has a provision that allows you to delete all but the last restore point. I would surmise that this frees up resources of disk space and virtual memory. Is it possible to program an option of the same for CCleaner? Backups of registry modifications that are saved do accumulate depending on how much you utilize CCleaner. I have about 80 registry backups in my CCleaner log representing a span of many months. Perhaps allow the option to remove all but the last ten or twenty with out self editing? No need to keep them if your system is performing well.
