I found the problem. The slider in Audio Properties was moved all the way to the left ( muted). I haven't touched these settings in years so clearly CC Cleaner was the "culprit" Cheers.

Greetings, After running the program ( and deleting stuff), the sound has disappeared from my computer. Help! Thanks. Found the problem: In Control Panel, Audio Properties, the Device volume slider was all the way to the left. Still... since I didn't mess with anything, it's a mystery.
