Hello all,
I've been using CCleaner for quite awhile, and it has always been very accurate, and reliable. I ran an Issue Scan this morning, with all item selected. The results showed one error was found in the Run at Startup section. The error indicated: Problem = Missing Startup Software Data = Blank
Registry Key=HKLK\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\windows\CurrentVersion\Run
What I don't understand is, what it is indicating is wrong? If I agree with what is being shown, and select fix this error, I believe it will delete that Registry Key. If I do that then the items listed under that key will no longer run at startup. As it stands now, using the Windows System Information Tool, it lists the same Startup Program that are listed under the "Run" key in the Registry.
My question is: Am I missing something, or is this a false positive?
