This tip does not make any difference in my case. I'm running Vista Ultimate 64 bit and have the same problem. CCleaner finds 103 registry errors, but right after fixing them and scanning again, all 103 are still there. I'd say CCleaner is not compatible with Vista (64bit) but on the other hand, no cleaner available does what it's suppose to do with this OS. Sure hope it'll be fixed in the near future. Doc.
